Instant Pot Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients:

1 ½ pound of lean ground beef
1 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons chopped garlic
1 Tablespoons onion powder
2 cups tomato puree
2 cups beef broth
2 cups small macaroni noodles e.g., elbows, cavatappi, shells, etc
2 cups cheese. shredded*
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Set Instant Pot to sauté. Add oil and allow to heat up. Add garlic and cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally.

Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.

Add salt and pepper, onion powder, tomato puree, beef broth, and pasta. Stir to combine.

Place the lid on, set to high pressure, and cook for 5 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes then release any remaining with a quick release.

Add cheese and stir gently to allow the cheese to melt. Serve immediately.
